From 8 to 10 May 2026, the Vietnam Institute for Arbitration Training and Research (VIART) organised the training course “Skills for Resolving Disputes by Arbitration” – Intermediate Level 2 (INTER2.0126) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.
As part of the course, Lawyer and Arbitrator Nguyen Manh Dzung participated as a lecturer and shared his insights with participants on two topics:
- Understanding the process of rendering arbitral awards at institutional arbitration centres
- Discussion on the mechanism allowing parties to waive the right to request the setting aside of arbitral awards under Resolution 222
In addition to these two lectures, Mr Dzung also participated in a mock arbitration session, through which he shared practical experience in arbitral proceedings, the conduct of proceedings, assessment of evidence, handling of procedural situations, and development of an effective, fair and internationally aligned approach to dispute resolution.
The training course provided participants with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the practice of commercial arbitration, while engaging directly with lecturers who are experienced arbitrators, lawyers and practitioners in dispute resolution in Vietnam and internationally.
