ADR VIETNAM CHAMBERS is pleased to present to our readers the ADR Vietnam Newsletter for the third quarter of 2024, bringing highlights from ADR Vietnam Chambers and activities related to arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods in Vietnam and around the world. The ADR Vietnam Newsletter for the third quarter of 2024 includes the following key contents:
(i) Promoting the development of commercial mediation in Vietnam – a dispute resolution method with great potential that has yet to be fully realised;
(ii) Construction contract disputes are gradually emerging as a common type of dispute being resolved through arbitration in Vietnam;
(iii) Education is the key to the development of the dispute resolution. Educational and training activities to enhance the knowledge and skills of human resources are extremely necessary;
(iv) Dispute resolution service providers, as well as individual arbitrators, mediators, and lawyers, need to proactively internationalise their operations to improve the quality of services and personnel, aiming for international standards.
