scientific seminar “Commercial Arbitration Law and Arbitration Procedure Rules in Vietnam – Practice and Recommendations.” -

On the afternoon of May 31, 2024, Arbitrator Nguyen Manh Dzung participated in a scientific seminar titled “Commercial Arbitration Law and Arbitration Procedure Rules in Vietnam – Practice and Recommendations.” The seminar was organized by the International Trade Law Faculty - Hanoi Law University, both online and in person in Hanoi.

During the seminar, Arbitrator Nguyen Manh Dzung shared insights from the drafting committee members during the drafting of the 2010 Law on Commercial Arbitration, providing deep and practical perspectives on the law-making process.

The event featured the participation of Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (Special Arbitration Counsel, Dzungsrt & Associates) along with many experts in the field of arbitration. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Tran presented on “ The Vietnamese Court's Judicial Power to support Commercial Arbitration", a part of her doctoral thesis.

We hope that in the near future, the International Trade Law Faculty of Hanoi Law University can continue to support research on arbitration and become a leading research center on arbitration in the North.
