On the morning of August 25, 2023, in Hanoi, Arbitrator Nguyen Manh Dzung presented at the seminar addressing proposed revisions to the Law on Commercial Arbitration. The Vietnamese Lawyers Association organised the conference with representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), and lawyers, arbitrators, and arbitration institutions in Vietnam.

Following his Master's in International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London in 2008, Arbitrator Nguyen Manh Dzung was directly involved in editing and drafting the Vietnamese Commercial Arbitration Law in 2010. He is honoured to be invited by the Vietnam Lawyers Association (VLA) to be a member of the Editorial Board for the proposed revisions to the Law on Commercial Arbitration. This proposal is expected to be presented for opinions in the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly term (May 2024), and the amended law is anticipated to be passed in the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly term (October 2024). Mr Nguyen Manh Dzung is a Founder of Dzungsrt & Associates LLC and currently acts as an independent arbitrator at ADR Vietnam Chambers LLC. He was a former member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and is currently included in the panel of arbitrators of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre ("HKIAC"), KCAB INTERNATIONAL, Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHAC), and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). He has handled not only domestic but also international arbitration disputes related to service contracts, supply and distribution contracts, international sale of goods, loan agreements, joint ventures, business cooperation, maritime cargo transportation contracts, marine insurance, construction, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), oil and gas, mining, among others.
