Topic 7: Setting Aside Arbitral Awards and Recognition and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards
There have been rising contentious issues in the current regulations in its facilitation of the arbitral tribunal to set aside, recognise and enforce arbitral awards. The limitations of the Vietnamese courts and tribunal on these issues require significant attention and therefore forms the focus of the final Talk show. Participants will be identifying existing limitations in the provisions related to the procedures for requesting recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards, the setting aside of arbitral awards, and the supportive role of the court.
